Edit New Review: I had previously purchased this skirt in a different color and decided on a dark brown , the item arrived used, dirty, stained, wrinkled and worn. I don't appreciate wasting time returning an item that was checked for quality control and would not have been shipped as 'new' to an unsuspecting buyer. First review: I ordered the strap because I wanted a more fitted silhouette. The material has great elasticity and is very flattering. I have big hips and buttocks, so the lining of the miniskirt underneath was useless to me, it went up all the way when walking, and after a while I just stopped even trying to pull it down. I don't feel like it was visually noticeable to viewers, but feeling the fabric crinkle was frustrating. The slit is high so that the skirt also opens when it is windy. I ended up holding the fabric together as I walked which made it look like I was acting like a lady. Anyway, I love the skirt, it's very flattering, has an elegant bombshell vibe and I know it would look amazing in a tropical setting. For a sizing reference, my normal pant size is a 12 or large/extra large because I'm pear shaped and heavy at the bottom. ig-iamcourtneyprice
