It's a little surprising that it costs more than the seat t-kit itself because it looks like it should cost around 50 cents.

It's just a rectangular piece 3/ foam padding, 16" thick, about 7" high, 6" wide and nothing else. The picture showing the Saddle T-Kit (at the time of writing this article) is just misleading, but at least it shows you what it contains. You need to cut a hole in this material. It's a little surprising that it costs more than the saddle t-kit itself, as it looks like it should cost around 50 cents. I haven't installed it yet, but I assume it will produce a reasonable seal.
