Review on UV-Reflective Leaf Medley Anti-Collision Decal - American-Made Window Alert to Safeguard Wild Birds from Glass Collisions by Janice Wilson

Surprisingly effective - highly recommended!

Not knowing what would be more effective at preventing bird strikes, I bought WindowAlert decals and Droll Yankees warning nets. I tried both on two southwest-facing windows in the front of my house, where everything from songbirds to hawks flew. Now that I've had these stickers and webs for over a year, I've noticed that while webs are an interesting concept, they don't work quite as well as WindowAlert stickers. My mother was concerned that people would see WindowAlert. Stickers as you walk down the street, but you have to look out the windows and look for the stickers to really see anything (see the attached photos of the inside and outside of my house). If you look closely in sunshine you can see how the UV light gives the decals a very slight magenta tint, which is barely visible to the human eye. They are very easy to apply but make sure you start in the center and work your way towards the edges as you apply to avoid air bubbles. A credit card was also helpful to smooth out the blisters. I would highly recommend these stickers to anyone who wants to help stop birds from entering windows and will definitely be buying more in the future!
