Review on 🌡️ Dometic D3106995-032 Heat and Cool Analog Thermostat by Jeremiah Vishwasrao

I bought this thermostat when the factory one in my RV started to fail. I chose this model because the picture was almost identical to my DuoTherm model, except for the stamp. It replaced my old one perfectly and has been working very well for a month now. There is a table in the package you get, but I recommend ignoring the color coding: mine didn't match this at all and if I had used it it wouldn't have worked. Instead I did the following: 1. I removed the plastic cover on my old thermostat.2. I noted the color of each wire and the label on the pin it was screwed into. The two wires were the same color, so I marked one with a marker and wrote down which wire pin match I noticed. I also took a picture before messing around with anything. I don't think an image will suffice because before you delete something you want to be absolutely sure that you know exactly where this is all going. I unscrewed the old thermostat from the wall and the wires from the contacts. I removed the old thermostat, installed the new one, and using my notes, screwed the wires into the contacts. The product itself did exactly what it was supposed to do. The chart was misleading and could cause a great deal of grief to an inattentive person.
