I've never used a rotary cutting mat and to be honest my expectations weren't high. Boy was I so pleasantly surprised! The rug is large, the measurements are very clearly marked and very accurate! The rotation of the mat is very smooth and does not sag at the outer edges. The lower part is covered with a thin piece of foam. This "sticks" it to the countertop so the underside of the rug doesn't move when you cut or turn it. It is very firm and stable during spinning. As if there weren't a turntable in the middle! It's so smooth I left the satin ruler with the acrylic ruler on top, rotated 180° and no shift at all! Wonderful! Just HOW do you do it? Can I give 10 stars?
