These headphones save lives! When I saw her on 12/18. first bought, I worked in an office cubicle. I heard my cabin neighbor chewing, I heard someone humming, etc. It was driving me crazy. I almost always had headphones with music on so I could concentrate, but these were in-ear headphones that made my ears hurt after a long day at work. After a lot of research I decided on them - mainly because of the price. This is a complete game changer for me. They are comfortable and I wear them all day (8-10 hours). At first I thought they were heavy, but that's most likely due to not wearing in-ear headphones. In terms of noise cancellation, they are amazing. I have made four flights and use them daily. You don't even have to be playing music for the noise-cancellation to work. Just turn it on and wear it. You can hear a slight hum, but it makes a big difference in the sound. Sometimes I wear them without music when I need to focus but don't want background noise. In fact, I had to buy a mirror so I could see someone walking behind me. When the music is on, I literally hear nothing but my own music. My colleagues like to sneak up on me. In terms of battery life, I charge it at night when I leave the office and wear it for 8-10 straight hours on a single charge. Sometimes I forget to charge them at night and the next day they are still alive. The sound quality tends to deteriorate towards the end of charging. If I notice that, I just plug them in and keep working. The range is good too. I work in an open-plan office where there are no walls, only booths. I can walk 40-50 feet from my desk without losing sound. After that it doesn't work. At home, I can leave my phone on the bed and move about 10 to 15 feet away from it. If I try to clean two rooms it really won't work. But at least I can sit in the home office if necessary. In terms of sound, I listen to classic, 70s rock and, above all, country. I don't listen to bass-heavy music at all, so I can't say anything about the quality. From what I hear the music sounds great. I listen to music at the lowest volume my phone can handle and it's loud enough for me. If you have doubts but are mainly looking for noise cancellation, get this one. You will not regret it.
