Review on 🐢 AvoDerm Natural Advanced Senior Health Dry Dog Food, Grain Free, Promotes Senior Health with Lamb Recipe by Barbara Robinson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

What's up with Revan?

What's up with Revain and dog food lately? The reason I switched to this brand was that Revain had increased the price of the last brand I used by over 71%. Now I'm ordering AvoDerm again and find out that Revain have increased the price by 80%! I started buying dog food from Revain primarily because, as with many products, it offers better value for money, and also because Revain offers some additional options that my local pet store doesn't have (like this AvoDerm) . . However, at these prices I will again support my local dealer. It will also give the dogs another chance to leave the house if they accompany me. Well, with that said, I think this is a really good dog food. Grain free foods are always good, and my dog will gobble them up (my dog will NOT eat, but he's attacking this thing vigorously). The size of the pellets is a little bigger than I would have liked (my dog is 20lbs, a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix) but he doesn't seem to have a problem with it. I really appreciate that I found a formula for the elderly that wasn't made with chicken but with something else. Maybe that's why my dog loves it so much, something different for his taste. And that's good for him. 28% protein vs 10% fat is a pretty darn good ratio, plus the food helps support joint health, vision, mental performance and your immune system (at least that's what it says on the packaging and I haven't seen anything to the contrary ). . Honestly, if it weren't for the 80% price increase (hence only 4 stars by the way) I'd be more than happy to keep feeding my dog this. However, if YOU don't mind paying the premium price, I think this would be a smart choice for your senior companion.
