Review on 🗑️ Hefty Small Kitchen Scrap Compost Bags - Convenient 2.6 Gallon Size, Pack of 25 by Rachel Harris

I hesitated whether to give these bags two or three stars and decided to give three, mainly because of the usefulness of the compostable bags. My main criticism of them is that they are very flimsy and very, very, very difficult to open. Another reviewer pointed this out and also said that you can't even tell which end of the package to open and I agree. There is no indicator on the pouch to tell you which end is opening and trying to separate the two layers to open it is a frustrating task. I ended up having to make a small cut at the top of the package with a knife (hoping it was the right end) to open it. The bag itself is suitable for collecting food waste. I think it has enough space for a regular collection as you don't want something to be too big and then waste space. I also understand that the bag should be thin so it decomposes more easily; It's really thin, but it's more than enough to hold food without tearing. The only thing that confuses me is how difficult it is to open the bag to put everything inside.
