This helmet is amazing. It's very light (even with the chin bar attached), comfortable and well-made with quality materials. The padding inside is very comfortable on the head and feels durable (time will tell). The chin bar is very well designed so it is comfortable on the face and also easy to remove and reattach. The chin strap is also well designed as it is magnetic and requires very little effort to buckle and unbuckle. This is a huge plus as most riders wear gloves that are difficult to use with traditional chin strap clips. The best thing about this helmet is the MIPS system, a really handy feature that seems to increase safety over traditional helmet pads. I would recommend this helmet to anyone looking for a MTB helmet and can't decide between open face or full face. This helmet gives you these two high security options in both forms. The price is high but you get what you pay for. Basically you get 2 helmets in 1 package with the highest level of safety you can expect from a helmet of this specification. Also, my biggest concern when purchasing this helmet was how it would look and fit without a chin. I was concerned it would be huge and create a "mushroom head" effect if the chin bar was removed. It's not like that at all. This helmet looks great without the chin bar, it's not big or bulky.
