We've made a list of what we need in our Porta Potti Camper -1 as compact as possible (it's a camper van pickup),2 economical with water (dry camping in the wild and the more water we need, the more weight we have to carry), 3 are easy to use and easy to clean, 4 and as a concession to our advanced age, about the same height as a standard household toilet. The model we chose required a slight modification of the cabinet door, a simple adjustment, but otherwise met all our needs. This particular unit should give us up to a week of battery life with its 4 gallon fresh water tank averaging 50+ flushes and a 5 gallon black water tank. When used correctly, the device is odorless and very easy to empty/clean. It's a solid device that we expect to see years of use.
