Easy lock for installation and reconfiguration.
I replaced some old door handles with this cam lock. The lock was easy to adjust to get the required orientation and it was fairly easy to change the orientation of the lock slot to match my deadbolt. This lock uses the Kwikset SmartKey backplane mechanism, eliminating the need for a locksmith. If the old lock is a Kwikset key, the old key can be reused without the need to cut new keys. The lock comes with instructions and it takes a few seconds to toggle.
