Review on πŸ‘ Enhanced Support and Comfort in VR: Esimen 5 in 1 Adjustable Head Strap + Front Face Pad Grip Cover for Oculus Quest 2 VR Shell (Green) by Jarrett Love

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bought when there were no reviews and cost almost $60

I wish I had waited a little longer to purchase additional accessories/protection for my sons VR but the fact that he was bringing 8 with him at this price made me uneasy which kept me awake at night held. When I came to Revain, there were so few options to choose from that I didn't even realize that different belts (which were actually comfortable) were in demand. It was the legitimate only kit worth what was included. It cost about 50-60 hicks back then and I even had to wait until it was back in stock to get it. I get stuff based mostly on reviews and photos but this one didn't have those at the time. I was taking a big gamble and didn't want to lie, the all black color was attractive and only offered in this kit. So, the pros: The headband was a game changer for us. What it originally entailed was so uncomfortable and actually hurt me. Thing is, I couldn't use the damn thing, now we will. I still can't because it hurts so much in my eyes but the strap was so nice and comfortable no pain easy I could just manage the back which worked smoothly and provided a nice click when turning. You can adjust to your probability within seconds! The quality and the material is very durable and high quality, which basically only makes up for its price range. A silicone main body protector would be better, has a firm bot texture and would be better if it was a snug fit, but it adds extra comfort if you know that I, a young kid, will be using it - a silicone face piece that I can't compare to anything else, was uncomfortable but it was the most comfortable feeling, it didn't make me sweat and I didn't feel like it got any other bodily fluid from the person who used it before. So it seems hygienic enough. Maybe a thicker and stiffer one would be better given the price? However, I've noticed that the face piece with the liner that snaps into the Oculus has come loose slightly since I've added it, but I'm not sure if that's wrong or not the best design decision used. I don't know that I have any straps to prevent this, but just a warning. Cons: All the other extras and necessary attachments make it impossible for me to take any chances with this product. - It's very annoying to take off the controller caps to put in new batteries, the strap because it seems more durable and better quality than the original, but the silicone made my son want to take it off, so he just ended up having them never put on again and lost somewhere, i'm sure no one will find it for now. The thumb grips were just ridiculous and unusable and disappeared on an off day when I got an order lol. and was slightly bent upwards at one end, bending it and nearly breaking the sides of the oculus with it. It was terrible fuel. Not to mention a part on one side came loose and rendered the entire Oculus unusable unless you had a replacement like duct tape to hold it together. Things were small and it took me a while to find them. Therefore, the main thing is that the strap serves its purpose and binds to a real Oculus, the quality MUST BE EVEN BETTER THAN THE STRAP ITSELF. For the price now I'll say it's a steal and brainless but there are now even more options with different straps and options to choose from if you can find the best and the best. Oculus will no longer be carried on the back of a bag that the real company makes. I didn't know and wasted a lot of money.

Pros
  • Face Pad - Anti-sweat, improves the experience and doesn't leave sweat stains. Protects your Oculus Quest 2 accessories from sweat and makes your long VR sessions much more comfortable and hygienic to share with family or friends.
Cons
  • Not bad but...
