This ironing board cover is better than most I've tried. The cover still doesn't go all the way down and around my ironing board. As a result, the tip is not tight around the entire board. The lid does stay, but I see it starting to slide off the end over time like all other lids. The best part is that the liner is really durable and thick. The thin silver case appears to be of mediocre quality. The stitching around the case is enough to hold the cord. Overall it's very convenient, just not great. I wouldn't expect it to hold up to heavy use. I would recommend it to other cases I've had or if you have a smaller board. I don't iron much so I assume this is enough for what I need. I really wish I could give this 3 1/2 stars just because I get frustrated with a stupid board cover every few years. It's not that difficult to make a good cover.
