I bought them because I work as a raft guide on the river and was in a bind. They lasted 5 flights before basically falling apart and I could barely get off the raft. Pretty disappointed but I think I should have expected it. I bought cheap $25 shoes from a giant tiger last summer and they lasted a season and a half so I guess I screwed up. Not recommended to spend a little more on hobbies. The toe guard is solid but fell apart again almost immediately. I would avoid
