This thing is a beast! Cleans carpets better than any machine I've ever owned or rented. The solution and recovery tanks are easy to attach and detach. Platinum quality cleaners remove virtually all dirt and stains. This is a heavy unit and it carries some weight. You get some training, but it's not the main fight. Unlike other Rug Doctor machines, this one cleans both forwards and backwards. One pass back and forth for cleaning, another for vacuuming dirt and grout. The vacuum cleaner/vacuum is more powerful than any vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner I have ever used. Leaves the carpet slightly damp but not wet. Dries within one to two hours depending on room temperature, humidity and air circulation. Based on the robust design and construction the machine should last for many years unlike the mainstream brands sold in big stores which last a year or two before self destructing.
