One of the pitfalls of an old truck is that my gauge batteries start to die, resulting in erratic pressure readings. Took the old one out and put the new one in at Sam's Club for $8. Tip: Don't let anyone charge you for training/calibration. Just google "TPMS calibration for <insert your vehicle>" and you'll see tons of videos showing you how. For GM, it only takes 5 minutes and the process involves nothing more than pressing a few buttons on the key fob and releasing a small amount of air from each tire. Don't forget to relearn every time you change a wheel - otherwise what is reported as a flat right rear could actually be a right front wheel etc. If I hadn't done this on my truck I would replace a good sensor, not a bad one.
