Just received my sleep pod. She is literally useless. Due to my build and weight I was afraid that even the large would be too small as I am at the upper limit of the recommended size for it. Boy was I wrong. It's like a tent. It's like ill-fitting stretched socks - just huge. It exerts no pressure or weight. I had high hopes for this product. I love the deep pressure of a weighted blanket, but this is definitely NOT a substitute for it. You could easily fit two of me there and probably still not feel the pressure he advertises. When I get up and try to put it on like a dress, it doesn't even hold up, it falls off. Even after 3 pillows it doesn't deliver what it promises. It doesn't even offer the same level of pressure as yoga pants or top top tights. I could get a tighter wrap by spreading a blanket on the floor and curling up like a burrito. I'm also disappointed with the leg opening. That was the design element I was looking forward to before I ordered it - my legs have to stick out. But there is only a small leg hole on the side of the bottom. Getting both legs out is not enough, at least uncomfortably. Others have complained that their feet were way smaller than they should be, so maybe the company is struggling to ensure sizing is consistent? I DON'T KNOW. But I'm sending mine back. I will not attempt to trade it for a smaller size because, having now seen it in person, I do not believe it is made of material strong enough to exert the pressure required for therapeutic effect. The material used is too thin and offers too little resistance. As I mentioned above, it's not even as durable as the top of most (loose) yoga pants or maxi skirts. It's really weak. This probably helps control the temperature but renders the product pretty much useless. 😞 I'm so mad. We hope the return process is quick and easy.
