We recently watched The Karate Kid with our kids for the first time and our son asked if he could have a bonsai tree. In fact, my 12 year old's chances of keeping a bonsai alive let alone pruning it carefully are close to zero, so I decided to try this artificial bonsai. Wood. There will be no doubt about that. That's nice? Yes. Reminds me of a bonsai tree? Yes. So far so good, I recommend it!
