Review on Black PTM Power Foldaway Passenger Side Mirror for Honda CR-V EX/LX Models - Fit System 63025H by Victor Rodriguez

Installed on a 2009 CRV. The mirror itself looks great, looks like the original, works great and was fairly easy to replace. After the nuts were slightly tightened (not quite yet) so that the rubber and plastic were flush with the window, I clearly saw a crack in the plastic housing. As a result, the upper corner does not remain at the same height as the window, as can be seen in the photo above, which is of course not optimal, but also ugly. I'll be using my original case now as I don't want to go through three installs waiting for a replacement assuming one is provided. I have seen other mentions of this or similar issues with this product. I was home when he came - he wasn't sitting on our porch in the sun. It didn't break when installing or d/2 over-tightening the mounting nuts. It's hard to see until it aligns with something it won't be until it's installed. If you buy this, please handle it with care and check for cracks before installing. Very uncomfortable to put the second time.
