Ease of installation. on outside mirrors

A passing driver broke my driver's mirror. It was a hit and run. This spare part fits perfectly. The old one came out and the new one went in with no problem. Total time was about 10 minutes. OK 15 minutes. What I'm trying to say is that it didn't take long at all. After the door panel was removed, there were 3 nuts and a wire connector. Easy.

The product delivered was as advertised and fitted the CRV perfectly.

Item supplied as advertised and fitted to CRV. However, there were no installation instructions included. Unfortunately, there is no YouTube video on how to open the driver's door panel for a 2010 or similar model. The item was shipped within 10 days. (I ordered when I was shopping over Thanksgiving so there may be a delay.) Not sure if this is an installation issue or not, but I have found that when driving at speeds in excess of 70, the mirror moves a little vibrates it's hard to see. There…

The mirror glass fell out and was broken - the standard glass does not fit

Initially I was very happy with this mirror: easy to assemble, looks great and works great. The price was also several times cheaper than the original part. The mirror glass fell out after a few months and shattered after someone closed the door harder than usual. cannot be easily replaced with standard CR-V mirror glass. It was a "stock deal" so the product may have been damaged when I received it, but it's a different design than the OEM part: the glass just falls off (not dangling) when the…

Arrived with a crack in the housing

Installed on a 2009 CRV. The mirror itself looks great, looks like the original, works great and was fairly easy to replace. After the nuts were slightly tightened (not quite yet) so that the rubber and plastic were flush with the window, I clearly saw a crack in the plastic housing. As a result, the upper corner does not remain at the same height as the window, as can be seen in the photo above, which is of course not optimal, but also ugly. I'll be using my original case now as I don't want…

Easy even for an absolute beginner.

It was my turn to smash the side mirror as I pulled out of our cramped garage. I'm pretty good with tools, but I've never tried to fix anything on our machines. Because this mirror was so cheap, I decided to give it a try before I gave up and paid the full price for my crime. Yes, there are NO videos on YouTube that help with this. Luckily, if you search "Door Panel Removal - Honda CR-V", there are a few that will give the general idea. Removing the door panel and installing the mirror is…
