I checked and they both produce left and right stereo sound as I wanted over a Bluetooth connection. Or rather, they did when I first tried it. Then I transferred them to the ceiling lights, _not_ the dimmer. Now only one of them is controlled by the application. Both turn on, but I can only get sound and control the brightness from one of them. The other, no sound, full brightness, doesn't decrease when I dim the brightness via the app, which the first does. It's like the bluetooth code gets confused somehow, connect to master or slave. I played around with it for about ten minutes, disconnected, toggled the speaker/backlight on and off, restarted the phone, rediscovered via bluetooth, nothing changes. However, only one of them is controlled via the Android mobile app, the other: no sound, full brightness. I don't know how, but the master lost the address of the satellite. I was able to restore using the app and a barcode reader and now both speakers and dimmers work. I'd just like to add that it's easy to fool into not having to read the instructions first; so you can get in trouble!
