The piece that attaches to the cup holder itself is beautiful and strong enough. The problem is how it connects to your phone - the part is detached and the rubber is tight and locks your phone in and it's pretty tight. However, once attached to the phone the phone slides/tethered to the plastic slide over 4 tiny 90 degree plastic corners which do their job very poorly and pop out VERY easily and frequently. I used it for 3 days and it's been in my house ever since.
