Chances are you have a smartphone, tablet, Android TV Box or other device that works more efficiently with a good wireless keyboard. iPazzPort Wireless Mini Keyboard with Touch Mouse Model: KP-810-61 is well-designed, feature-rich and highly portable. As the name suggests, the KP-810-61 offers both a keyboard and a touchpad for the best of both worlds, along with a wide range of features. System requirements: WindowsMac OSLinuxAndroidGoogle SmartTV OS. Devices Compact size allows for ultimate portability and resembles the shape of a game controller Recognizes multiple gestures and includes a scroll bar Wireless RF with USB receiver for fast plug-and-play recognition Full QWERTY keyboard layout Multi-language version (configurable in settings) Backlit for easy viewing in a dimly lit room. Choose between red, green or blue backlighting. Rechargeable 800 mAh Li-Ion battery including USB charging cable User manual. To be clear, this device does not support Bluetooth. This is a 2.4GHz wireless connection and requires the included USB receiver to be plugged into your computer's USB port. This allowed my non-Bluetooth enabled Android TV Box to have full keyboard and mouse functionality without a tangle of physical cables. I just plugged the receiver into an available USB port and turned on the keyboard. It was recognized immediately and was immediately ready for use. I was immediately intrigued by the small size and shape of this keyboard, measuring approximately 5.5 x 3.5 x 0.75 inches. It's lightweight and very comfortable to hold in hand and type quickly with your thumbs. Above the keyboard are arrow keys on the left and a touch mouse with 8 dedicated buttons for IR learning function in the center right. Scrolling is done with the FN key when I drag my finger across the trackpad. There is a mouse button on both sides that takes over the function of the right or left mouse button. I especially like a backlight that is easy to activate and the lightbulb button can switch to your favorite color. Choose the preferred highlight color and enter it. When you stop typing, the backlight goes to sleep until you press any key to wake it up. It is very efficient and helps extend battery life. I tested this keyboard on my Windows 10 and 7 laptops and it connected and worked flawlessly. Windows takes a few seconds to load the driver for the device, after which it is ready to use. Aside from my Android TV Box, my other Android devices only have micro-USB ports that can't accommodate a full-size keyboard receiver. Luckily, I've found that the keyboard works with an adapter cable or an OTG hub, allowing you to connect it to Android tablets and smartphones. This expanded my testing to 2 Android tablets, a Revain Fire tablet, and 2 smartphones. Smartphones were instantly transformed with faster and more accurate data entry and navigation. Entering new contact information is no longer a chore as typing on a physical keyboard is much easier than an onscreen keyboard. The biggest surprise was the increase in performance when using the keyboard with the Revain Fire tablet. The mouse touchpad on the keyboard virtually eliminates accidentally launching programs when touching the wrong elements on the screen. I get to my destination much faster without jumping to the wrong program or website. Both Android tablets I used for keyboard testing had physical keyboards connected to a micro-USB port, but a wireless keyboard with a touchpad, mouse, and backlight is more comfortable to use. The iPazzPort wireless mini keyboard has another useful feature. The IR Learning feature allows you to assign the function of certain keys on another device's remote control to one of the 8 keys on the keyboard. The instruction manual gives very clear instructions on how to do this. My previous experience with this type of learning technology has always ended in failure, but this keyboard learned to turn on my DVD player on the very first try with no problems. If you prefer there is a good YouTube video showing how to set up IR learning for another remote control. This little keyboard has performed flawlessly in all my various tests on different devices. Eventually my TV box would lock up and refuse to turn it off. It was a great opportunity to test the ctrl/alt/del key on the keyboard. As with a PC, this button resets and restarts the TV box. The keyboard/mouse transformed my less-than-cooperative TV box into a full-featured media streaming device that I now enjoy using. The keyboard has made every device I've tested much more functional and easier to use. If ever a device deserves a 5-star rating, this is it. This is a great little keyboard. Buy one and discover the functionality of your tablets, smartphones, PCs and other devices.
