I bought this item to mount my GPU vertically. I was interested in the structure and whether the PCIe Version 4.0 adapter cable is valid and not just false advertising. The fastener is made of durable metal and the PCIe adapter is easy to install. Looking into GPU-Z after installation still recognized my RTX 3070 as a PCIe x16 4.0 device. I ran some 3D Mark tests and there was no difference in performance. There are 4 screws in total, two large screws are for the PCIe riser card and two smaller screws are for the bracket that should cover the exposed expansion slot. I personally didn't use the mount, I just put back the native coverage. The existing case screws are used to install the bracket inside the case. The bracket sagged a bit due to the weight of the card, so I slid existing unused metal PCI covers from my case underneath to give it some support at the end, as shown in one of my photos. The easiest way I've found to install the bracket is to install the GPU before installing the bracket, but depending on your computer case, this may make things more difficult. I also loosely tightened the top screw before installing the rest of the screws and then tightened everything up. After that I connected the PCIe adapter cable to the motherboard. The only thing I had to do differently was get a mount with a shorter cable as I didn't need the full 22cm. Overall I'm very happy with the product and haven't had any issues with the device so far. I'm planning to turn my PC into a fully water-cooled system and this mount was the first step in my project.
