Nothing short of AMAZING! Removing mirror scratches and limescale on shower doors

After watching a TechnologyLK YouTube video about removing glass scratches, I decided to give it a try. First project: removing scratches from a mirror with the Brillow Pad The mirror was something my wife was going to replace anyway, so I figured it would be okay if I destroyed it. I removed the mirror from the wall, mixed the grout, dipped a 3" felt circle attached to the Dewalt drill bit into the grout and got to work. The first thing I noticed is that the direction you tilt the drill has a big impact on the vibrations. Vibration plus overspeed is equivalent to mud spraying, which is messy. After I sprayed the slurry the first time, I sealed the edges of the mirror with duct tape to prevent the slurry from getting under the frame. The second thing I noticed is that the varnish gets more intense as you apply more pressure. effective, but the constant pressure makes you tired. I switched hands several times, which helped deal with hand fatigue. After about 15 minutes both stubble scrapers were 99% clean and the mirror was back on the wall. I'm sure I could do that. If I had worked longer I could have gotten rid of the remaining deep scratches but at first glance the mirror looked perfect. Then I had the nice task of telling my wife that she doesn't have to buy a new mirror after all! ;) Second project: Remove limescale deposits on the glass door of the showcase - after gaining access to the mirror, I tackled the notorious limescale deposits on the shower door. Our door was almost white and nothing I've tried so far has been able to get it out. After a quick test run with mortar, the door (at least a 5" circle) was crystal clear! Just amazing again. I stopped there because I didn't have much time and the whole door would take an hour or two, but I have no doubt that it will look amazing once completed. For reference I used a 75mm Sutemribor felt polishing pad with a Dewalt bit.
