I don't know the answer to some of the questions you are asking Heat resistance and energy efficiency. This works for me in my Ikea lantern. The problem for me was that the top socket fits my Sengled lamp (works well with Alexa) but the bottom socket is smaller. I had an LED lamp but would also like to control it with Alexa. So I needed this adapter. The only problem is that this causes the smart bulb to stick out of the screen. If the lamp falls, it will likely break. Although this is a completely different topic. Not the fault of this adapter or Sengled. Well, it would be nice to make lightbulbs with a standing smaller diameter. I blame myself for not checking the sockets when I bought the lamp.
