What they unknowingly can't tell you is that when you install the "top" legs into the top shelf, you *don't tighten all the way*. Tighten about 50-75% for a lot of wobble. You need to spread them out to fit the slots on the bottom shelf. Then screw the bottom legs to the top legs through the bottom shelf. Once the bottom legs are screwed into the top legs, go back and fully tighten the top legs. After that, you'll probably need to tighten your lower legs again. I'm surprised they missed this detail in the instructions. When you tighten them all the way, they don't even come close to matching the pre-drilled holes, leaving you wondering if you have a defective product. Thanks to the advice of NM Barron.
