Big size for little hands but not too small to eat. She developed a rash after nibbling on her new Christmas present the first day, but I'm not sure if it was a reaction to the blocks or if she got sick (she did). I've heard that wood needs to be cooked to get natural allergens out, so I did and haven't seen a rash since. It was sanded very smooth until I welded the blocks, which is understandable. It's great that there's no paint or harsh chemicals for these rodents to get to. She loves hearing the blocks smash and hit the ground as she pulls one by one out of the big box and throws it on the ground.
