Protection update
My daughter has always worn gel pads but as they are heavy she wanted to try foam rubber pads. She's 10 but she's a little narrower 10, these fit a little more but won't fall off so we'll save her and give it a try. We're not looking for something as protective as a gel as it doesn't fall off often anymore. Hopefully that will be enough as they are thin.
