I queued to get the one in the photo (blue plastic) and thought I read that. I have a wooden one instead. To their credit they say everything they stock, but I went to "Made by Bissell" and assumed it was a wood fake. I had to vacuum and couldn't wait any longer, so given the one month warranty I stuck with it. However, it works fine as I've only been able to use it a couple of times. But will it stop in five months, as others have warned? I'm really tired of wasting planned obsolescence, wasting more resources and wasting my time fixing things. Companies pay engineers six figures to figure out how to break schedule to improve their bottom line than to be able to buy well-made things that last, we're used to expect.
