My 17 year old girl broke her arm near the elbow, fell on her and hyperextended her elbow. The podiatrist recommended these braces as a replacement for the $300 splint they had in their office. She wore it until the end of football season to protect her elbow in case she fell on it again. This prevented renewed overstretching. worth your money!
