Review on ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ Lixa-da Spider Lights - Adjustable DIY Industrial Ceiling Light Fixture for Dining Hall, Bedroom, and Hotel Decoration - 6 Arms by Mark Sergio

Great light, bad instructions and you have to be creative with the installation.

This light is great but it requires some engineering to install. It comes in parts (lots of parts) and the instructions aren't very good. Many details are not even in the manual. So here's what I did. You need to jack up the ceiling hooks FIRST (missing that crap). Then small cone things go along a large part of the cone to the base. Then run the wires through the base and then the other little things. It's time for what I've dreamed up. I cut one of the wires about 8 inches and used it as a jumper. When it was down I twisted all the arm wires together using a jumper wire which I cut. The wire twisted the white wires with a large nut (not included) and then taped them together. Repeat the same for the black wire. Then when I installed it all I had to do was connect a jumper wire to my source and use the small wire nuts for only two of the wires. This greatly simplified the wiring, I think it would be almost impossible to connect 6 wires to the power supply wires on the ceiling.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's ok
