I replaced the upgraded lamps in our master bedroom with these to make it easier for my wife to control the brightness and temperature. the added bonus of using playful colors when the mood hits. Installation was easy (there's nothing unique about these lights, it's more about the bench itself and the mounting mechanism). The Smart Life app recognized all the lights straight away (I didn't have to juggle my WiFi bands for that either), and the controls worked right away with no fuss. Added smart life skill to Alexa app, created smart life account and linked accounts. no problem (can be done via the Alexa app after adding the Smart Life Skill). Alexa found Fire and Arrow, also good to work with Alexa. So far no problems. "Music" mode requires you to leave your phone with the app open so that it "listens" to the music. Place all the lights in a "group" so they all sync with each other in music mode. There are many reviews that Smart Life stopped working out of the blue. Just take a look. this is only the first day. But in any case, this is quite common in home automation at the current level of maturity (still quite immature). Changes to their interfaces break old interfaces and eventually you get a bit, you have to uninstall and reinstall to use the latest interfaces.
