I love the pastel colors in my bedroom but it means my bedding shows it all. My last blanket was too bulky to fit in the washing machine in our apartment and after the last time my dog threw up on it I stopped lugging it to the laundry or dry cleaner. I decided to find something similar but light enough to wash at home. I am totally in love with this blanket. It is incredibly soft and light, but still warm enough. Summer is coming so I think it's cool enough for hot nights and if it's not warm enough in winter we can put a cheap blanket under it. The color isn't too pink, it's muted and classy, just what I wanted. Another aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the size. I usually buy comforters larger because they tend to run small, but this large queen comforter covered my queen bed and touched the floor all around (I have a 10" mattress, box spring, and standard size bed).
