Review on NETGEAR GS728TP 100NAS Ethernet Lifetime Protection by Dustin Lannan

I've been using this switch for almost a year now and it has never failed *knock on wood*. I like how reliable it is. It's the only managed switch I've ever owned, so I can't really compare it to anything else, but I feel the web interface leaves a lot to be desired. There are 20 devices connected to this switch, 17 of which are connected to the power supply. this switch over ethernet (14 VOIP phones and 3 ethernet powered access points). This thing feeds them all like a champ. However, I did hook this up to a UPS/surge protector. I don't want to ruin this fashion product.
