Review on Wi-Fi router TP-LINK TL-MR6400, black by Koichiro Takahashi ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I did not find the advantages of the product, I do not recommend it.

Despite the good LTE signal (75%) and excellent reception speed (on a 10-megabit tariff, 9.5 megabits downloads), the transmission speed is extremely low (about 2 megabits). And, as I already wrote, constant disconnections with Yota. Communication is lost frequently and for a short time. In the browser, this is manifested by slightly longer delays in opening pages, but, for example, IPTV manages to work out a buffer and interrupt. And many remote control programs simply break the connection and have to reconnect. Before him was an old reflashed MR100-3. There were no problems with it at all, but it was used in conjunction with a repeater, so I decided to replace it, so that everything is in one. In vain. I did not like. For the money, I expected more stability.

Pros
  • In my opinion, this is the only router with external LTE antennas. It pleases, but does not help.
Cons
  • Constantly loses contact with Yota. Some devices need several attempts to connect to it via Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi signal is expectedly weak.
