The most economical way to get alkalinity, you need to figure out how much to use. I add it to the reverse osmosis tank, 14 teaspoons per 10 gallons of reverse osmosis water per week (that's my evaporation rate) gives me an alc of 9-10 dkh, nice and easy. I manually add calcium 2-3 times a week as needed.
