Too strong! suitable for aquarium water treatment

2 of my Australian millepores are discolored 😒 Be careful, I followed the instructions, but I find this chemistry too strong. Alkalinity gets very high!

Pros
  • good piece
Cons
  • slightly torn

I love this thing - Fish & Aquatic Pets

, I know there are other ways to adjust the alkalinity and PH but this makes things a lot easier. I only add a small amount to my makeup water and it keeps alkalinity under control. Now it hardly fluctuates.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Dear

Consistent level and affordable price

The most economical way to get alkalinity, you need to figure out how much to use. I add it to the reverse osmosis tank, 14 teaspoons per 10 gallons of reverse osmosis water per week (that's my evaporation rate) gives me an alc of 9-10 dkh, nice and easy. I manually add calcium 2-3 times a week as needed.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some loose change
