Check the function of the lock
It seemed like a puzzle, but after a day it was easy. I live in Florida and both of my front doors are stronger than ever. I've studied the lock since installing it. The solid door has a lock, but the science of fastening and supporting the bolted door I enter is amazing at how strong it is inside and out. The packaging says it can withstand up to 800 pounds of POWER! I can't understand 100 pounds of force let alone 800 pounds. I'm so glad I closed all the doors and I'll be sure that during a hurricane my door won't fly open and there won't be any more chairs and sandbags to support the banging door. Great buy for 2021
