I was impressed - its hard to know who re-packaged and re-sent the gate, but at least the seller took responsibility The gate works fine; i'll keep it with the minor dings and scratchesORIGINAL Review 2 starsThe gate pieces were loose in an oversized plain cardboard box; no instructions. Obviously, this was returned and repackaged. There were many dings and scratches on the gate from being loose in shipping. We had to no choice but to make it work as grandkids were arriving in one day. The gate actually worked fine between a wall and stair post. I highly recommend getting the gate nanny with this gate to protect your walls (also sold on Best Buy). I can't recommend this company if you want to make sure you are getting new unused gates.
