This came in a very compact box with some plastic sheets and lots of clear strong tape. I highly recommend not using a utility knife to cut through the packages, but instead using your fingers to gouge the area and try to lift the package, and then using a pair of small scissors. After unpacking and folding the package, everything is fine. . I love expandable luggage and bags in general. The zipper feels solid and smooth when opening and closing and doesn't feel cheap in any way. Each buckle feels crisp when locking and unlocking. The laptop area is well padded and the included top handles are a nice touch. The briefcase's handles work well, but the shoulder straps have nowhere to hide, so all you have to do is pull them all the way down. No labels or logos anywhere, which is a big plus for me. A printed notice on the inside of the bag also advises that it can be worn with dark clothing and that stains can occur early in the bag's life, so handle with care for the first few weeks. So far I haven't had any problems, but I only pay attention to those wearing white shirts. Work. Really happy with this replacement.
