These things are a piece of junk. New batteries barely last half a day. Channel search 18 miles away, blah blah blah, you don't have enough battery power to drive 18 miles. BTW that 18 mile range is only if you maintain line of sight, if there's any obstacles forget it, maybe a number you'll only use in salt marshes where at 18 miles it's actually flat. Instead of worrying about how long the range might be, they should have put some effort into extending the battery life. I was distracted. All the features are good, but you won't have enough battery power to use them all.
