Very good magnifying glass. It works well for flat things and gets them pretty close. I mainly use it for reading jewelry and whatever else I need. I can't use it to see the inside of the ring as I can never get the ring in the right position to read it. I have another magnifying glass for this, so it's just another tool in my tool arsenal. It's well done. It's made of durable materials and I've dropped it once or twice and it's bounced back perfectly. The light is dense and I really like the UV properties. If you need a magnifying glass for flat or flat objects, I would go for this one. If you need to look in the direction of something, you may need something else. However, it could only be me.
