They work very well. Cut the rosemary, thyme, oregano, etc. into small pieces. The basil and mint will chiffonade the first time you cut them, and then the tips get sharp enough that I just hold the scissors upright and chop into a bunch when I want them smaller. I love that it comes with two scrapers as I can leave one on each counter. There were no problems with the dishwasher. The only thing I don't like is the stem, even the smallest hole is too big for most of my herbs. But it was still Lagniappe. Definitely worth the money.
