has been using it to polish brass for the last 51 years

Used to polish brass doors in the old Brooklyn Paramont Theater. They are also coated so they will last for some time. pad of brillo to remove it. Sometimes a bit of pumice, like Ajax sand powder, will also remove stubborn oxidation. It works when all else fails.
