I have used this to polish 304 stainless steel sheet metal and aluminum rims. This is exactly the same ointment as some of the more expensive brands.

Used to polish brass doors in the old Brooklyn Paramont Theater. They are also coated so they will last for some time. pad of brillo to remove it. Sometimes a bit of pumice, like Ajax sand powder, will also remove stubborn oxidation. It works when all else fails.

I cannot put into words how good this product is. I have a closed trailer that was solid. I bought this product for fender and petticoat. I tried it on a painted part and it worked wonders. The trailer was in the same place for both photos. Check out the reflections in the color after it's applied! I originally sent the trailer to be repainted, now I have no intention of painting it.

The manufacturer and I may have received different training, including a different understanding of the term 'polishing' and its textbook definition, but in my world a product cannot 'polish' and "non-abrasive". Polish = "Make smooth or shiny, usually by rubbing." So it could be a "Cleaner", "Conditioner" or "Polish" but technically this product is NOT a "Polish" .
