can't believe it took me so long to get one of these. Certainly expensive, but sooooo comfortable. When it comes to drywall, I've run screws into a stud more than 90% of the time. now it's 100% since i can turn that bolt on bolt and tighten the screws on the wire and NEVER miss. My cabinets use a mounting rail. I put a single reference mark on one side of the kitchen at just the right height, drawing a line across all three walls (try this with a chalk box!). All the rails are at the perfect level, all the cabinets are leveled at the right height, and when I turn off the laser, the "chalk" magically disappears (no mess! haha). I also used it to mock up the cutouts on the back of the cabinets. I measured the offsets for the penetrations and then mapped the x and y coordinates to the boxes. I positioned the laser to get the intersections of these marks for drilling holes, and then used an oscillating saw (and a hole saw for the rounds) to "connect the dots".
