Replacement bulbs arrived next day. The bulbs themselves came in a small cardboard box with a cellophane window. The lamps were protected from shocks inside the box by foam rubber padding. Suffice it to say that they arrived in perfect condition. I installed the first one in my 2-D Cell MagLite. The flashlight performed as I suspect the original designer would have wanted it to work with the old krypton lamp technology. The beam is sharp, clean and bright white. The focused circle of light is actually sharp and round, not blurry or crooked. At 200 lumens (a published number), it behaves like an old flashlight, illuminating something with a bright spot of light. MagLite's beam focusing feature works very well. I installed a second lightbulb in my son's MagLite and he had the same result. I liked them so much that I bought a second set to use in other flashlights.
