Review on OXO 1058016 SteeL Cocktail Strainer by Steven Brouillard

I didn't even want to buy this colander. I already have one, why do I need another? Well it was an inexpensive addition so I added it and am very glad I did. Let's start by saying that I like OXO for the most part. They had a little problem with their reversible jigger but they tried to make me happy and I appreciate that. However, in this case, they created the perfect product. You have thought of everything! The size is perfect for my mixing glass. You push the strainer into the glass and the spring snaps into place. No annoying pen because you don't need one. In fact, you can invert a mixing jar with a strainer and the strainer will be held inside the jar due to the tension of the spring. Impressive. Also, the finger rest at the top is where your finger naturally stops, so you're really holding the item in place when pouring because there's no other. Comfortable place for a finger. Fabulous! The moment I used this strainer, I removed my old one. This is by far the best filter I've ever used. Good job (again) OXO.
