Overall, this cable is great and serves my purpose very well. However, he began to see that this would not be the case. There is a lot of unnecessary bulk at the end of the Displayport cable; I'm leaning on having much thinner DP cables. This may not be a problem for many, but in my situation, my graphics card is slightly recessed at the back, and I mean the thickness of the thin sheet metal. This created a problem as I couldn't fully install the DP as it got caught on the metal back of my case. I had to open the computer, unlock the graphics card and wiggle it a bit to get the DP to connect. This works, but puts a bit of a strain on my motherboard PCI slot. If it crashes due to stress and I lose an expensive mobile workstation, that's going to be a big problem. but so far it works great. Fantastic cable properties.
